Carolyn’s Experience

Carolyn Ryberg is an Integrative Health Coach based in Victor, New York.

She received her Master of Arts degree in Theology from the Western Theological Seminary. She also graduated from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. Her work allows her to combine her ministry and pastoral care experience with her passion for health and nutrition.

She is an Integrative Health Coach trained through Duke IM, the top integrative health program in the country. She holds a plant-based nutrition certificate from eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.

Outside of her coaching, Carolyn Ryberg works as the Vice President of Client Services for Hunter-Ross LLC, a private sector organizational consulting company.

Integrative health focuses on helping clients make lasting lifestyle and health changes that lead to lifelong well-being. Using a comprehensive integrative health model, she is able to help her clients to navigate their professional and personal development and life challenges. Typically, her initial client engagements are over a 3 – 4 month period, though many clients go on to work with her long-term. Her approach combines multiple facets, including self-care, professional care and mindful awareness.

Carolyn Ryberg personally maintains a whole-food plant-based no oil diet (WFPBNO). When she started studying nutrition years ago, she started to see the dangers associated with animal-based, dairy and processed foods. In 2015, she transitioned over to a vegan diet and noticed some immediate health benefits. After living the vegan lifestyle for some time, she switched to a whole-food, plant-based no-oil diet. With this change, she saw substantial physical and mental benefits. She has also noticed the tremendous difference in many others from following this lifestyle, which is what inspired her to become a health coach. She knows that helping people to explore their nutrition and eating habits will help people achieve their journey in a healthy and enjoyable manner.

Through her coaching practice, Carolyn works with clients all over the country to help them on their health journey. She firmly believes that taking consistent small steps helps ensure overall long-term wins every day. In a culture where so many people are stressed out to the max and living their life unbalanced, her services provide clients with the steps to recalibrate their life to be more balanced, healthier and happier.
